Marrakesh has a way of announcing itself immediately the warm light, the scent of orange blossom and cumin, the call to prayer drifting over the rooftops. Take the afternoon to arrive at your own pace: unpack, explore the immediate lanes of your neighbourhood, find a rooftop terrace and order a mint tea as the city settles into its golden hour.
This evening, your guide will join you for a gentle introduction to the city, a walk through the Jemaa El Fna Square as the sun drops, the square transforming from a daytime market into an open-air theatre of storytellers, musicians, acrobats, and food stalls. Day 2: Discover Marrakesh — Medina, Monuments & Hidden Souks

Today your expert private guide takes you into the layered world of Marrakesh a UNESCO-listed medina that has been a crossroads of civilisations for nearly a thousand years.
Your morning begins at the Koutoubia Mosque, the 12th-century minaret that has orientated every visitor to Marrakesh since the Almohad dynasty built it still the tallest structure in the city, still the compass point of the medina. From there, you move through the winding streets to the Bahia Palace a 19th-century masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship whose carved cedar ceilings, painted plasterwork, and central garden remain among the most beautiful interiors in North Africa, Then the Ben Youssef Medersa, the largest Islamic theological college in Morocco and a marvel of geometric tile and sculpted stucco that rewards as long as you care to linger.
After lunch perhaps at a hidden courtyard restaurant your guide knows well the afternoon belongs to the souks. Not the hectic tourist lanes of the outer medina, but the deeper quarters where specialist craftsmen work as they always have: the coppersmiths, the weavers, the lantern-makers, the leather tanners of the Chouara. Day 3: The Atlas Mountains — Hike, Fresh Air & Lunch at Kasbah Tamadot
An escape into the high country.
Just 60 kilometres south of Marrakesh, the High Atlas Mountains rise dramatically from the Haouz plain a landscape of terraced valleys, Berber villages, and ancient mule tracks that feels a world away from the medina's sensory intensity. Today you leave the city behind and head into the mountains for a day of gentle adventure and extraordinary scenery.
Your morning hike takes you through the verdant Imlil Valley one of the most beautiful in the Atlas accompanied by your private guide and a local Amazigh mountain guide who knows every path and every family in the villages above. The route is chosen according to your pace and preference: a gentle valley walk or a more ambitious climb toward the snowline, with views across the terraced fields of walnut and apple trees that define this extraordinary landscape.
Lunch is at Kasbah Tamadot Richard Branson's legendary mountain retreat, perched above the valley with panoramic views of the High Atlas and the Toubkal massif beyond. One of the most spectacular lunch settings in Morocco, Kasbah Tamadot combines Berber architecture, lush gardens, and exceptional food in a setting that makes the entire morning's walk feel like it was building toward this moment. Arrive, eat well, and take your time.
The drive back to Marrakesh in the late afternoon passes through the foothills as the mountains turn amber in the declining light. By the time you reach your riad, the city will feel like a welcome return and a hammam or rooftop drink will have never felt more deserved.

Day 4: Free Morning — Then the Agafay Desert at Sunset
Do nothing. Then do something unforgettable.
Your morning is entirely your own. Sleep in. Order breakfast on your riad terrace. Wander into the souks without a plan. Browse the boutiques around the Mellah or the Guéliz neighbourhood. Sit in a café with a coffee and watch Marrakesh move around you. This is what a séjour should feel like.
In the early afternoon, your private driver collects you for the transfer to the Agafay Desert a vast lunar plateau of grey rock and ochre dust just 30 kilometres from the city, where the silence is total and the sky, as evening comes, becomes something extraordinary.
